    Build Our Veterans A Home

Denver needs a home for Veterans services, but we need your help to build it.

Featured Highlights

  • Donate and you could win!

Donate to the Veteran Resource Center now through December 31, 2014 and you are automatically entered to win 2 first-level tickets to every remaining Nuggets game for the rest of the regular season! Must donate a minimum of $15 to be entered. The Volunteers of America Veteran Service Center is our dream for getting Colorado Veterans better assistance, faster. Right now, Veterans are struggling with the distance between services scattered across the city. But with our planned building at 1247 Santa Fe, we would create one building that any Veteran can visit to get everything from education, to employment help, to clothing, counseling, and legal assistance.
  • Volunteer for the Resolution 5K!

The Resolution 5K is one of Denver's oldest running events and takes place through Washington Park on New Year's Eve. This year the event benefits the Volunteers of America Brandon Center and we need volunteers to help on Wednesday, December 31 from 2:00 pm. to 7:00 p.m. with race set-up, water stations, and a post-race spaghetti dinner at South High. The event closes at 7:00, so it is the perfect family event and over in plenty of time to ring in 2015.
  • Serving those who served

"Volunteers of America gave me a second chance at normal," said Jamal. "Food, shelter and someone who actually cares about me." You can help veterans like Jamal who need some help getting back to "normal." Volunteers of America is building a Veteran Service Center in Denver. Our plan is to make this building a one-stop for Veterans to get access to the service they need. You can help.
