Volunteers of America is inviting you to take part improving the lives of Colorado's most vulnerable neighbors. Over 30 distinct human service programs run by Volunteers of America help low-income families and children, homebound seniors, women and children seeking refuge from domestic violence and homelessness and more. You can change the story of a neighbor in need by volunteering or donating to a specific program, or ask that your donation be used where there is the greatest need.

Volunteers of America is a faith-based human service nonprofit organization. With compassionate care that touches mind, body, heart and spirit, our highly effective programs help seniors, adults, youth and children reach for their full potential.

As part of one of the nation's largest human services organizations serving nearly 2 million people across the country every year, we see the potential in everyone and help them accomplish more than they ever thought possible.

Because of caring people like you, everyday Volunteers of America transfoms lives throughout Colorado. Homebound seniors receive hot nutritious meals from volunteers, disadvantaged youth find a path to self-sufficiency, homeless families find refuge in a safe shelters. More than 30 programs throughout the state provide individuals with immediate needs to help them reach their full potential. Volunteers and financial supporters make it possible to change sad stories into ones of hope and self-sufficiency.

Share Our Strength has once again selected Volunteers of America among the recipients of the Taste of the Nation Event, coming July 19th. A portion of the evening's proceeds will benefit VOA's programs addressing hunger, including the Brandon Center and Head Start Programs.

Vote online for your favorite non-profit to win a $25,000 social media makeover. The makeover includes  expert consulting services to help improve the winning non profit’s social media presence and fundraising outreach.

Upon conclusion of the campaign on July 31st, a winner will be selected at random from the top ten qualified non-profit’s, based on votes, providing the winner up to $25,000 in social media consulting services.
