Metro Denver - Front Desk Volunteer
Location:	Metro Denver, 4855 West Colfax, Family Motel
Date/Time Commitment:	Sunday-Saturday 8:00am - 7:00pm
Answer phones, exchange Ids for keys, reserve rooms for families referred by DDHS, make copies, and take messages.

Denver - Senior Center Dance/Party Planners (group opportunity)
Location:	Metro Denver, 1865 Larimer St., Sunset Park Senior Center -
Date/Time Commitment:	Dances are held on Thursday afternoons between 1:00pm-3:00pm.
Will work with Project Manager to organize the dance or party needs, will provide the food items for the seniors and will hold the event, including setting it up, conducting it and cleaning up when completed.

To assist the Family Service Coordinator with children’s activities planning and implementation. These activities will ensure the children are increasing their knowledge while feeling part of their community.

Metro Denver - Meals on Wheels Delivery Driver
Location:	Deliveries take place in Metro Denver
Date/Time Commitment:	Routes are available daily, to be delivered between 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. throughout Metro Denver, Monday through Saturday. Each route takes approximately one hour to deliver.
To deliver in a timely manner and within safety guidelines set by the State Health Inspector.

Date/Time Commitment:	1-2 days per week for 2-8 hours
Provide personal motivation and coaching for the homebound elderly participant in the Healthy Moves for Aging Well Program.

Larimer County - Volunteer Updates
Location:	Fort Collins
Date/Time Commitment:	Total of 8 hours to complete the project. Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm.
Help us be GREEN. We want our agency be more efficient and cost effective by having the most updated contact information for over 700 volunteers. Volunteers will make phone calls to currently registered volunteers to update contact information including email address.

Date/Time Commitment:	One day event on October 23rd, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Larimer County - Support Seniors Through Nutrition Education
Location:	Various sites throughout Larimer County
Date/Time Commitment:	September, 2009 - August, 2010 20 hours total, 10:30-12:00 M-F
Enhance the quality of life for our seniors at noon-time lunch sites by providing valuable information on dietary needs and food safety. Not only will you enrich the lives of Seniors, but your life is equally if not more abudantly enriched.

Metro Denver - Children's Program Volunteers
Location:	Metro Denver - Brandon Center
Date/Time Commitment:	Monday - Thursday, 6:00pm to 8:30pm
To provide support and comfort to children living in Brandon Center, a shelter for victims of domestic violence.

Metro Denver - Childcare Volunteers

Date/Time Commitment:	Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Rainbow House Child Care Center offers quality child care for children 6 weeks of age – 5 years of age. Volunteers are needed to assist with children and other duties around the childcare center.

Date/Time Commitment:	Thursday Evenings 6:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturday afternoons
Bannock Youth Center is a program that offers supportive services to formally homeless youth. Childcare volunteers are needed to assist with children while parents attend life skill classes.

Date/Time Commitment:	Handypersons make their own appointments with the clients and are asked to do one job per month.
Volunteers are needed to provide safety related modifications and repairs in the homes of limited-income senior citizens.

Metro Denver - Market Basket Volunteer

Volunteers are needed to help destribute and deliver Market Baskets of food to homebound seniors.

Foster Grandparent Volunteer
Location:	Sites are Available in Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Denver, Jefferson, El Paso, and Larimer Counties
Date/Time Commitment:	Volunteers must be at least 55 years of age and able to volunteer at least fifteen hours per week. In return, volunteers receive a non-taxable monthly stipend which does not affect OAP (Old Age Pensio
Volunteers in the Foster Grandparent Program spend time in a variety of settings doing tutoring, mentoring, and loving children/youth.

Healthy Aging Coaches
Location:	Metro Denver
Date/Time Commitment:	Two Hours, Weekly
Volunteers are needed to teach fall-prevention classes to seniors. These classes are designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels.

Education Outreach & Safety Assessment Facilitator
Location:	Various Locations within the Denver Metro area
Date/Time Commitment:	The hours are flexible. A minimum of two days per month is preferred.
Present fall and fire prevention education material to various senior audiences. Also conduct safety assessments in seniors' homes.
