RSVP Denver Metro

The Retired Senior and Volunteer Program’s mission is to assist volunteers age 55 and over find meaningful volunteer opportunities in which they can share their experience, abilities and sk ills for the betterment of their community and themselves.

National
RSVP was an outgrowth of efforts by private groups and government agencies to create opportunities for engagement, activity, acquaintanceship and growth for older Americans. The success of their efforts led to an amendment to the Older Americans Act, creating RSVP as a nationwide program in 1969. Today, more than 500,000 Americans participate in RSVP, making RSVP one of the largest volunteer efforts in the nation.

Local
Volunteers of America, RSVP supports close to 800 volunteers who contribute their time and energy to over 70 agencies in Denver, Douglas, and western Arapahoe counties.
