The Youth Transitions Program (YTP) and Housing For Young Mothers (HYM) are supportive housing programs that provide rental assistance to homeless youth and young mothers for a period of 18 months.
 
Participants in the YTP and HYM programs receive case management services to help support them in their employment, education, independent living, parenting skills and more. Youth also receive services from the Bannock Youth Center; where they can go for mentoring, meals, life skills classes, and job searching. The program helps young people become self-sufficient.
 
Eligibility:
● Between 18-24 years of age
● MUST be homeless (to be verified- i.e. staying at a shelter)
● Have a full time activity (work or school) of 32 hours per week or more

Volunteer Opportunities Include:
● Providing childcare for events and classes held at youth center
● Providing educational programming (life skills classes) for youth
● Hosting of community events, providing meals at the youth center
