Northern Colorado Volunteers of America provides frozen meals to those age 60 and older who are homebound and in need of nutritious meals. Individuals must have a means to reheat meals because they are delivered frozen. Meals are available in boxes of five or seven.

Deliveries are made Monday through Friday, usually between 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. There is no fee for this service, although donations are encouraged. No one is denied service because of an inability to pay.

If you would like to learn how to help with our frozen meals on wheels program, contact us or visit our Volunteer Opportunities page.

Volunteer drivers pick up boxes of frozen meals at the Volunteers of America office and deliver them to seniors on a designated route, usually with 3-4 stops.

Routes are weekly, every other week, or monthly.  If you are looking for something that is not quite as consistent, there is always a need for back-up to cover for scheduled drivers.
