Brandon Center/Theodora House is an emergency shelter for homeless women with children, as well as single women. The shelter provides assistance to those seeking refuge from domestic violence and offers individual and group counseling, parent education, housing referral assistance, a children’s program, GED classes, and employment skills assistance. Every woman receives case management and develops a plan with her case manager; the length of stay is determined by the needs of each woman or family.

Residents receive in depth case management and can stay at the Center up to 90 days while working to meet her personalized goals. A key objective of the program is for women to become self-sufficient (employment, education, housing), and the length of stay, coupled with the support of the staff, allows each woman to achieve her goals.

The Brandon Center/Theodora House admits clients 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. The crisis hotline is open 24 hours a day throughout the year. Women seeking services should call the shelter to ascertain eligibility and bed availability. Clients should call 303-620-9190 or email the Project Manager.
