Be a part of the Action Team
Get in the Action!
Youth Action Team is a national volunteer program for high school students funded by the Major League Baseball Players Trust and administered by Volunteers of America. High school students are selected to be Action Team Captains and work together to make a difference in their community.
The Denver Action Team:
The Denver Action Team is made up of high school students in the Metro Denver area that want to volunteer and be a leader in their schools and communities. At our monthly meetings we participate in leadership & character building activities, listen to influential guest speakers and volunteer locally! Throughout the year, the Action Team Captains plan and execute a service-learning project in each of their high schools to spread the message of service and volunteering amongst their peers. The group works with Colorado Rockies baseball players to plan, organize, and implement a large volunteer project that benefits a Volunteers of America program.
