Job Title: Dining Center Coordinator - Part-time - Barney Ford - Senior Nutrition Program - Nutrition Services Division

Job Title: Pantry Assembly Worker (2 positions) -  Nutrition Services Division
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of three years related experience in volume food service operation. Ability to read, write, follow standardized recipes and perform standard mathematical calculations. Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
Responsibilities: The Pantry Assembly Worker participates in the daily meal assembly activities for home delivered, dining centers and Head Start meals. Produces quality cold food items and hot food items as appropriate as specified in approved menus and in accordance with agency standards and procedures. Assures the accurate portioning and packaging of both cold and hot food items for delivery to clients receiving home-delivered and Head Start meals.
Salary: $8.55 per hour

Requirements: High school diploma or GED.  Prefer some college classes in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field or CDA credential.    Experience in relating to small children in classroom setting and interacting with parents from diverse backgrounds.  Good organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.   Ability to team teach.  Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.  
Responsibilities: Assists with organizing, implementing and delivering a preschool program based on the educational, intellectual, physical, social and emotional potential of the children enrolled.  Serves meals as required and maintains safety and sanitation in accordance with state, local and program procedures and regulations.  Assists in managing the classroom environment, provides input and observation concerning program participants and interacts with parents and family services staff as a part of the early childhood development component.

Job Title: Project Manager - Single Women’s Programs - Lima Street Women’s Residence and Theodora House - Residential, Youth & Emergency Services
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or the equivalent. Master’s degree preferred. Three years related human services experience required with administrative experience preferred. One year supervisory experience required.
Responsibilities: The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Lima Street Women’s Residence and Theodora House, coordinating emergency and long term housing for adult women. Supervision and scheduling of the regular human services and relief staff to meet the needs of each program, in addition to volunteer assignments and coverage. Responsible for program development in conjunction with the Associate Division Director.
Salary: $35,984 annually ($17.30 per hour)

Job Title: Project Manager, Rainbow Campus - Rainbow House and Rainbow Head Start - Residential, Youth and Emergency Services
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or the equivalent related experience. At least two years of classroom experience working with 0 – 5 year olds. Supervisory experience required. Director qualified by the State of Colorado for a large center. Spanish or other language skills a plus.
Responsibilities: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall functioning of two facilities and three separate programs at Rainbow House and Rainbow Head Start.  This position oversees the organization and implementation of the Rainbow House Early Childhood Care and Education Program, the Head Start program, and the Colorado Preschool and Kindergarten Program based on the individual needs of the children enrolled.  The Project Manager also coaches and supervises Lead Teachers, Teacher Associates, Group Leaders and Teacher Assistants.
Salary: $35,984 ($17.30 per hour)

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human services related field or equivalent relevant experience.  One year of experience with the homeless population.   Requires own transportation, valid driver’s license and up-to-date insurance.  Excellent interpersonal skills and good organizational skills.  Some experience in working with computers; knowledge of Windows environment preferred.  Individuals with experience in the following areas will be given preference:  Case management and awareness of area human service resources.  Bilingual (Spanish) language skills helpful.
Responsibilities: The Family Advocate is responsible for assisting in the development of this city-wide housing program that includes assessing the needs of the homeless families and individual applicants for public housing and linking them with community resources to assist them in remaining independent.  The position requires ongoing interaction with the tenants, family members, property managers and housing authority representatives, volunteers and others in the community.  Also works with families at risk of losing their housing in order to prevent homelessness.      
Salary: $13.45 per hour

Responsibilities: The Family Service Worker (Recruitment and Enrollment) leads the Family Service team in recruiting and enrolling eligible children. During the recruitment process, the Family Service Worker (Recruitment and Enrollment) evaluates applications based on priorities established by the Policy Committee and accepts children into the program based on the needs of the child and their family. This position is also responsible for maintaining records regarding enrollment and attendance in a database and reporting the information to the appropriate parties on a monthly basis and coordinating the program’s response to attendance below mandated levels. As children are enrolled, the Family Service Worker (Recruitment and Enrollment) creates and maintains a wait list of qualified families and ensures that any vacancies are filled in a timely manner. Using a case management approach, the Family Service Worker (Recruitment and Enrollment) assesses families’ strengths, needs, concerns and priorities and links them to social services, health, nutrition, mental health, disabilities, parent involvement, literacy development and other services and programs. The Family Service Worker (Recruitment and Enrollment) facilitates connections with family services and empowers families towards a more positive quality of life.

Experience in building rapport with families from diverse backgrounds and facilitating parent involvement in program activities. Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license and state-mandated automobile insurance. Bi-lingual (Spanish) required; able to translate both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities: The Family Service Worker (Parent Outreach) is responsible for working closely with the Project Manager to ensure program compliance with Head Start Performance Standards in the areas of Family Partnerships, Community Partnerships, and Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance. This position coordinates parent involvement and outreach efforts for the Family Services team and takes the lead role in facilitating family participation in literacy activities and parent meetings. This position works with the Family Services team to recruit parents to participate in parent meetings and family literacy activities and is primarily responsible for facilitating those meetings and activities. The Family Service Worker (Parent Outreach) recruits eligible children, enrolls them and assesses families’ strengths, needs, concerns and priorities. Using a case management approach, the Family Service Worker (Parent Outreach) links families to social services, health, nutrition, mental health, disabilities, parent involvement, literacy development and other services and programs. The Family Service Worker (Parent Outreach) facilitates connections with family services and empowers families towards a more positive quality of life.

Responsibilities: Responsible for assessing the needs of the homeless women referred to the Irving Street Women’s Residence facility; developing and implementing a treatment plan; providing group and individual counseling; and linking them with mental health resources in the community.
Salary: $16.10 per hour ($33,488 annually)

Requirements: At least three years direct experience in building maintenance or relevant experience and trade school certificate in related field. Basic knowledge of all power tools and their uses. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Valid Colorado Driver’s license, insurance verification and good driving record preferred. CFC certification desired.
Responsibilities: The Building Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all VOA facilities; ensures buildings, equipment and grounds are safe, and in good repair at all times; may be required to supervise volunteers; monitors the facilities to ensure they meet all safety and health requirements.
Salary: $13.95 per hour

Responsibilities: Residential Case Manager - Theodora House provides for the protection of the physical and emotional well-being of the residents. Responsible for providing homeless residents with crisis intervention and case management services. In conjunction with each resident, develops plans and action steps that lead to services and housing. Assists in maintaining relationships and referral sources in the community. Job Title: Manager of Veteran’s Services - West Campus (Brandon Center, Family Motel, Irving Street) - Residential, Youth and Emergency Services
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience. Two years direct experience with homeless populations, including a working understanding of mental health issues and treatment modalities. Experience in program development and coordination. Individual with veteran status and/or experience in veterans services preferred.
Responsibilities: The Manager of Veteran’s Services is responsible for the assessing eligibility, conducting intake and coordinating services for homeless female veterans in the Home Again Project, with initial housing provided at Brandon Center. Works with the Dep’t of Veterans Affairs (VA) and DHS Veterans’ Services Office and Homeless Veterans Reintegration Services (HVRP) to ensure access to VA benefits and services. Oversees the development and implementation of educational, training and other activities for enrolled veterans where gaps in these services exist. Provides resources and information to enrolled veterans regarding employment assistance, mental health, drug and alcohol rehabilitation services and shelter and housing resources. Stays connected with the service provider community and other services for veterans and low income people.
Salary: $31,096 annually ($14.95 per hour)

Duties include recruiting, orienting and placing volunteers; relations with clients, volunteers, and partner agencies; monitoring service delivery; outreach, public relations, program development and evaluation, and record keeping.
Salary: $12.55 per hour
Shift: 20 hours per week Monday - Friday 4-5 hours per day, flexible on which hours worked during the day
