| Dining Center Services |

Since 1973, The Nutrition Services Division has
provided hot nutritious meals at dining centers throughout the
Denver area. Currently, Nutrition Services operates 28 dining
centers providing food, access to community resources and positive
social interaction to persons 60 years age or older who reside in
the following counties: Adams, Arapahoe, Clear Creek, Denver,
Douglas, Gilpin, and Jefferson County. |

Clients are asked to
make a contribution toward the cost of the meal. Suggested
contribution: $2.50 |
| Eligibility |
Eligibility
for dining center meals is stipulated in Title III of the Older
Americans Act, Nutrition Programs for the Elderly.

To qualify as a participant, an individual must meet one of the
following criteria: |
● 60 years
of age or older;
● An eligible participant’s spouse or caregiver (any age)
● Resident of a facility where a dining center is located |
