The Youth Program is designed for youth ages 11-17 who are interested in improving their community through service. We provide group service-learning opportunities through our Head Start Mentoring Program. We also offer a
variety of group and individual opportunities through our Youth Take Action Program and Denver Action Team.

Looks good on college scholarships and job applications
Learn about careers in the nonprofit and human service field

Head Start Mentoring Program
The Head Start Mentoring Program takes groups of youth into Head Start Preschool classrooms to act as mentors. The teens pair up with a Head Start child to read, play games, and do an art and craft activity related to what the children are studying. Every session begins with group training and ends with a debriefing. This is a wonderful opportunity for groups wanting direct service with children.

Denver Action Team
What is an Action Team?
Action Teams are made up of Major League Baseball players and high school students just like you who inspire and encourage others
to volunteer.
What does an Action Team Do?
Action Team members help others, whether it's out in the community or inside the classroom. Action Team activities vary as they work to improve the lives of kids, families and seniors right in their own back yard.
