Quarterly Message from our President and CEO, Dianna Kunz
To our wonderful donors, friends and volunteers,
The beginning of 2016 has been a wonderful time of thanks for Volunteers of America Colorado Branch. We met the needs of those most in need during the holidays, our annual Martin Luther King Jr. Dinner provided an opportunity for fellowship and community, and our own Denver Broncos won the Super Bowl!
Colorado is a football state, Denver is a football city, and on any given Sunday, Monday (and Thursday), this city can be found at Sports Authority Field at Mile High or glued to the television to cheer for our beloved team. We root for the Broncos through good times and bad, and we stand by our team because we know they have it in them to succeed. In return, the team knows it is well-loved, and has a loyal fan base.
At Volunteers of America, we are like the Broncos. No, we did not personally win the Super Bowl. But you are our loyal fan base. On any given day of the week, 1,000 loyal volunteers are delivering healthy, warm, meals to seniors in need; donors are making contributions on our behalf; and youth groups are making sure families in our programs are well-fed and clothed. We know that you stand by us, and we appreciate your loyalty. Without you, your support, your dedication, Volunteers of America would be quite different.
Thank you for all you do to be our biggest cheerleaders, our loyal fans, and our dedicated supporters.
Sincerely,
Dianna L. Kunz, President
