Description

Support the women at Irving Street Women's Residence, a safe haven for chronically homeless women with some form of a disability.

Front Desk Assistant: Answer phones, provide bus passes, distribute hygiene items and cleaning supplies to residents, and assistance with group activities and kitchen duty. Copying, filing, data entry and other light office work. Shifts are available in two or four hour segments, 4 to 8 pm, 4 to 6 pm, and 6 to 8 pm.

Activity Leader: Plan and lead activities for the residents. Activities can fit a volunteer’s interest such as crafts, games, health and fitness, or life skills.
