VOA-Colorado Employment Services rounds out the picture of veteran services. Serving the Denver Metro area and Colorado Springs, El Paso County area, we offer a comprehensive employment package for veterans with the use of the Homeless Veteran Re-integration Program (HVRP). The goals of HVRP:

• Provide career exploration, training, placement, and supportive services to veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness, empowering them to secure good jobs in stable, high-demand occupations paying livable wages;
• Establish strong partnerships between public, private, and nonprofit organizations, especially those that employ and partner with veterans who have experienced homelessness, to deliver services to marginalized veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness to assist in overcoming barriers to employment.

This program is for:

• All veterans* and their immediate family experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
• Justice-involved veterans

VOA-Colorado Employment Services is a flexible option to those veterans who meet the grant qualifications. A veteran does not have to be engaged in other programs to take advantage of our services. They only need the desire for direction and skill development to take advantage of our offerings.
