PROGRAM OPTIONS

Head Start

Head Start is a federally funded program designed to promote school readiness for children ages three to five years old. The program focuses on early learning, social-emotional development, and family engagement to ensure children are prepared for kindergarten. Head Start also includes support for children with disabilities and works closely with families to enhance parenting skills and access to community resources. VOA Colorado offers both center-based and home-based options. Head Start is free to qualifying families.

Early Head Start

Early Head Start is an extension of the Head Start program that serves pregnant women, infants, and toddlers up to age three. It aims to support early childhood development during the critical first three years of life by providing high-quality early learning experiences, health and nutrition services, and family support. The program is designed to promote strong parent-child relationships and ensure that young children receive the nurturing and support they need for healthy development. VOA Colorado offers a home-based option. Early Head Start is free to qualifying families.

Child Care

Private care option for children ages 3-5 years that serves families who need before and after school programming or care when school is not in session. Payment is required. CCCAP is accepted. Please contact for more information.
