Tax Talk with Tim

Join VOA Colorado and Tim Rich from Corient for an informative discussion on recent tax law changes and how charitable giving may provide valuable tax benefits. Learn strategies for giving through Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs), IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions, and Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs).

Whether you’re considering your year-end giving plans or looking for tax-efficient ways to support the causes you care about, this session will provide practical insights to help you maximize both your philanthropic impact and potential tax savings. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and gain a better understanding of the charitable giving tools available to you.

The presentation will be both in person and online!

Tim Rich is a Partner in Corient’s Denver office. Previously, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at affiliated firm Segall Bryant & Hamill (SBH), and transitioned to Corient in 2023. He serves as an advisor and manages a range of portfolios for high net worth families and nonprofit organizations.

Tim earned his BA from Duke University and MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is a member of CFA Institute and CFA Society Colorado. Tim has been in the investment industry since 1999.
